Sustainable Packaging / Commercial Documentation

Know the product. Review the evidence.

A clear purchasing decision starts with documents that match the product offered. Green Nordic coordinates requests for available supplier documentation around the intended application and destination market, helping buyers identify what needs to be reviewed before ordering.

Build a product-specific document request

Depending on the item, the request may include a technical specification, material composition statement, food-contact documentation, relevant test reports and available certificates. Documents should identify the product, issuing organisation, date and any conditions or limitations.

Check claims against their scope

If your brief includes claims such as PFAS-free, compostable, recyclable or reusable, request evidence relevant to that exact product. A statement about one material, product range or supplier does not automatically establish the same characteristic for every finished item.

Provide the receiving requirements

  • Destination market and buyer document checklist.
  • Exact packaging item and intended food-contact use.
  • Required claims, tests or certificates.
  • Any required language, document format or validity period.
  • Customer approval process and deadline.

Document availability and outstanding requirements should be recorded before the order is confirmed. The evidence must be reviewed for the proposed item and use.
