Kitchen trial
The chef evaluates species, portions and preparation performance separately from the tea, spice or pastry shortlist.
Build a Singapore purchasing brief around the way the food will be sold: a restaurant kitchen, retail shelf or distributor account. For Nordic seafood, define species, chilled or frozen format, pack weight and acceptance criteria. For tea, spices, cocoa and pastry, identify the recipe or resale format first. Separate Singapore consumption from onward supply to other markets so samples, documentation and freight are evaluated against the right destination.

Use this selector to request comparable specifications. These are enquiry routes; listing a product does not confirm stock, a local distributor or a destination-market approval.

Name one Singapore receiving account, the trial quantity for each product and the person approving the result. Record the agreed specification, the importer’s document checklist and the expected reorder quantity before moving to a wider rollout.
Complete the local brief: name the first buyer or venue in Singapore, the product it will evaluate, the person approving the sample, the delivery/receiving point and its reorder trigger. This turns a city enquiry into an actionable account proposal.
Before requesting samples, identify the Singapore importer and classify each product. The Singapore Food Agency explains that the licence or registration route depends on product classification; commercial samples also fall within its import guidance. Ask the importer to check the applicable source, product and permit requirements before dispatch. A seafood programme and an ambient ingredient programme should have separate receiving, storage and documentation plans.
Compare salmon, cod, whitefish and shellfish as separate lines. State cut or portion, size grading, glazing where relevant, pack weight and target delivery condition. Ask the receiving team to define its temperature checks, remaining shelf-life target and lot identification before a supplier offer is evaluated.
Give the trial kitchen a written test: tea service format, spice application, cocoa recipe or dough-disc preparation. Record portions per case, preparation time, waste and storage needs. A sample should lead to an approved specification and a forecast for named outlets, rather than an undefined request for a mixed catalogue.
Tell us whether the receiving account serves Singapore outlets or plans onward distribution. Define the first receiving facility, chilled/frozen or ambient handling, and the party arranging onward freight. Request comparable prices on one agreed freight basis. Supply capability, minimum order and lead time are confirmed for the selected producer and product.
Yes. Name the trial outlet or account, its product need and expected quantity. Small trials remain subject to supplier MOQ and a workable freight basis.
Start with the importer, product classification and intended sales channel. Then define the trial specification and receiving conditions. Review the SFA commercial-import guidance before dispatching products or samples.
This page does not promise local stock or an office. Supply location, delivery responsibilities and availability are confirmed in the quotation.
Yes, as a separately qualified project. Define the brand, product specification, territory, initial order and forecast. Producer capability, terms and any local requirements must be confirmed.
Send your product brief, first-order quantity, receiving location and required timing. Green Nordic will assess the relevant producer and commercial route.
