Harvest calendar & standing order programmes
Arabica, Robusta and whole fermented, sun-dried cocoa beans are supplied through harvest-linked standing order programmes for first-pick lots. Agree seasonal volumes, the growing region, harvest window and delivery frequency before allocation.
| Product / crop | Growing region | Indicative harvest window |
|---|---|---|
| Robusta | Masaka & western Uganda | May–August |
| Robusta | Central & eastern Uganda | November–February |
| Arabica | Western Uganda | April–June |
| Arabica | Eastern & West Nile regions | October–February |
| Cocoa beans | Uganda · region confirmed per lot | Main crop: September–March. Mid-crop: May–August. |
| Vanilla | Uganda · region confirmed per lot | Two seasonal cycles, generally June–July and December–January. Exact harvest start dates are declared for each season. |
Regional planning guide based on the Uganda Investment Authority coffee sector profile. Actual dates vary by location, rainfall and crop year. First-pick lots, availability, volumes, shipment timing and programme commitments are confirmed with the producer. Cocoa windows follow the Uganda agriculture ministry’s cocoa manual. Vanilla cycles follow VANEX guidance; official seasonal declarations take precedence. Cocoa powder production and vanilla curing / seed preparation take place after harvest, so harvest windows are not dispatch dates. Final crop timing, stock and delivery are confirmed per lot.
