Kitchen trial
The chef evaluates species, portions and preparation performance separately from the tea, spice or pastry shortlist.
For a Hong Kong restaurant group or food distributor, start with the receiving account and the space available for each delivery. A seafood offer needs a species, cut and temperature specification; a pastry or ingredient trial needs a preparation method and a pack that fits the intended kitchen. Compare tea service, spices, cocoa and frozen dough as distinct buying decisions. Tell Green Nordic which products are for Hong Kong sales and which, if any, are intended for a separate onward market.

Use this selector to request comparable specifications. These are enquiry routes; listing a product does not confirm stock, a local distributor or a destination-market approval.

Create a receiving plan for one Hong Kong account: case dimensions, storage allocation, delivery frequency and trial approval owner. Keep any onward-market programme on its own specification and quotation.
Complete the local brief: name the first buyer or venue in Hong Kong, the product it will evaluate, the person approving the sample, the delivery/receiving point and its reorder trigger. This turns a city enquiry into an actionable account proposal.
Build the offer around the Hong Kong importer and the actual receiving premises. Ask the buyer to review the Centre for Food Safety’s importer/distributor registration and imported-food guidance for the selected category. Record the receiving time window, handling equipment, freezer or dry-store capacity and case dimensions. These buyer-defined constraints help choose a workable pack and delivery plan before discussing a wider distribution territory.
Request external case dimensions, units per case, usable product weight and storage conditions. Share the buyer’s preferred delivery frequency and the available receiving space. A pack suited to a distributor’s storage operation may need a different case split from a restaurant kitchen; qualify both accounts before requesting one common quotation.
For salmon, cod and shellfish, specify the exact species and product form. The kitchen should compare portion yield, preparation method and wastage using the agreed trial specification. List the receiving checks and batch information required by the importer. Confirm fresh or frozen logistics separately rather than combining unlike offers.
A tea-service programme needs brewing and portion criteria; a retail line needs a defined consumer pack. Spices should be tested in the intended recipe, while pastry trials should record handling, cooking performance and portions per case. Identify who approves each trial and the account’s realistic reorder volume.
Yes. Name the trial outlet or account, its product need and expected quantity. Small trials remain subject to supplier MOQ and a workable freight basis.
Confirm the importer, product category and final destination, then agree pack dimensions, storage conditions and who will approve the sample. The importer should review the applicable CFS guidance before dispatch.

Yes, as a separately qualified project. Define the brand, product specification, territory, initial order and forecast. Producer capability, terms and any local requirements must be confirmed.
Send your product brief, first-order quantity, receiving location and required timing. Green Nordic will assess the relevant producer and commercial route.
